Grand Theft Auto: Vice City Review

It's been 10 years since developer and publisher Rockstar Games changed the gaming industry forever with the release ofGrand Theft Auto: Vice City in 2002. TheGrand Theft Auto series spawned the open world shooter genre, and Grand Theft Auto: Vice City continued this rich tradition with the best iteration of the play style at the time that has now become the foundation of nearly every new release in the industry. Grand Theft Auto: Vice Citytook players to 1980s Vice City--a recreation inspired by the sunny beach city of Miami that featured numerous pop culture references front and center during key missions of the game including Miami Vice and Scarface. The result was a title that fans would love and cherish for many years to come, but it is also one that has aged as well as you'd think during its lifetime. Now, Rockstar Games has brought back the classic in a new download for iOS and Android just in time for the game's 10th Anniversary celebration.
Long time fans will remember Grand Theft Auto: Vice City as the game that introduced players to the protagonist named Tommy Vercetti. Tommy is a tough as nails mafia member who has just been released from his 15 year sentence in prison and is heading to the sunny shores of Vice City to continue his work with a new partner in crime. Tommy meets many colorful characters along the way that are all voice acted really well in a game that was ahead of its time, and most players know what to expect here. Complete missions from various characters located throughout the city, shoot plenty of bad guys and wrap it up with an epic conclusion to the storyline. Even though the game's graphics and controls may not be the best in the new release for mobile, Grand Theft Auto: Vice City's storyline is still top notch and a good enough reason to download the newest version of the game.
For the new release, Rockstar has made many improvements over the classic title, but the game still manages to fall flat on a few different accounts. The graphics have been improved to include high definition graphics and reworked characters models that looks far superior to the original release, but the game still looks a bit aged, obviously. Getting around the city is still roughly the same as is has always been, but with its move to mobile comes a new control scheme for Grand Theft Auto: Vice City. This time around you'll be able to fully customize the way you play the game however as you move around and resize buttons to fit your preferences. The game also includes a nifty auto-aim mechanic that allows Tommy to easily mow downs mobs of enemies to avoid player frustration at the sacrifice of the difficulty some of the game's missions used to feature. Other new features in the mobile version of Grand Theft Auto: Vice City includes customizable soundtracks and new loading screens that still pop up too often and are too slow to make players feel completely comfortable in colorful 80s world.

Review of Grand Theft Auto Vice City

What makes the music so great this time around is the massive selection available for you to choose from. Chances are, GTA Vice Citywill have songs that can cater to every single audience out there. It successfully touches all of the major bases by selecting the best titles available to represent their respective genres. That means that you’ll get rockin’ 80s tunes like 99 Luft Balloons and More Bounce to the Ounce and less tunes from forgettable bands like Heart and The Culture Club. Talk radio also makes a return although it’s not nearly as funny as the version hosted by Laslow last time around. There are some truly great musical selections in here and if you’re in the mid 30’s and you wish to relive your youth, you’ll no doubt be pleased by what GTA VC’s soundtrack has to offer. It would have been nice had there been an option to create a custom soundtrack out of the available songs but I’m willing to forgive this omission.

Visually the game has in a few respects, although you probably won’t notice it at first. While GTA 3 featured some pretty detailed landscapes, GTAVC completely blows it out of the water. After playing VC the environments of GTA3 just look barren and plain. You’ll see much more foliage and roadside objects, many more buildings that feature unique designs and architecture and overall, just much more detail. There are now interior areas for you to explore such as a mansion and a shopping mall. Nightfall brings the city to life, lighting up the entire city in an extravagant display of highly stylized neon lights. The main character seems to have been refined quite a bit and although he still looks a bit too lanky, he’s much more soothing for the eyes. He actually seems to have progressed quite a bit and in many ways looks like a cross between WWE Owner Vince McMahon and Shawn Stasiak. Judging by the screenshots, you might expect the game to have faced a revelation of some sorts in the graphics department, that is until you see it in action for yourself.

Due to the massive scale of the game, this game cannot visually compare to the other top tier titles. The blatant overuse of motion blur (a great way to hide dropping frame rates) makes a triumphant return and strikes nearly ever portion of the game. Problems arise during the custscenes when you realize that the models could have benefited from a few more polygons. Characters often look out of place during the numerous cutscenes; it often looks as if they’re floating across the floors as opposed to walking across them. Their arm movements and mannerisms are also pretty weak and cannot match what the other premier PS2 titles are doing. While much of the game has been improved it still looks like a game that is a year old and in this respect, the game often looks old and dated. Sure you’ll see some neat visual tricks to add a surreal feeling to the game here and there but the game just isn’t much to look at anymore. Last year’s game wasn’t a very impressive visual treat but managed to pass in the graphics department because there was just so much to display and render. There are a few neat tricks thrown in here and there such as trees that sway and water that actually splashes onto your screen, but it’s not enough to overcome the graphical deficiencies. Pop up runs rampant and seems to have grown to become an even larger problem. Roadside objects are now affected by the pop-up, sometimes a dumpster or an indestructible object will magically appear out of thin air to impede your progress. To put it frankly the graphics look old and dated and are only saved by the tremendous overuse of the industry’s best eye-tricks.
Grand Theft Auto Vice City is an excellent game but the fact of the matter is, if you hated last year’s game then this won’t do much to change your perspective on the series. Most of the same problems from last year’s game live on in this expansion pack of some sorts and while some of them have been addressed, they’re still as inept as ever. The same braindead AI that crippled GTA3 makes a return appearance and is more annoying than ever. In a level where I was to infiltrate a boss’ house, an AI teammate accompanied me in hopes of obtaining some sweet revenge. As we fought our way, strike that, as I fought our way to the boss’ room, he did the logical thing and stood in the line of fire. Of course he held a weapon in his hand the whole time but apparently he had no idea how to use it so what did he do? He got in my way, every time I tried to move to get a clear shot at the boss he would just follow me and block my path. The AI coding in last year’s game was horribly inept and it’s just as bad here as it was there. Other times you’ll be on missions where you must protect someone but they’ll inadvertently get stuck on a piece of the level and you’ll have to go back and retrieve them. The pathfinding AI is just horrible and it carries over to the enemy AI as well.

Most of the time they’ll just stand there and act as fodder for you and your heavy arsenal. Often times you’ll hear gunshots only to discover that it’s an enemy who has been firing into a wall for the past 5 minutes. Missions only become difficult when the numbers are heavily skewed towards that of the opposition, as it appears that the first rule of becoming a thug is to get a lobotomy. Take this case into point; an enemy stands guard on top of a building with a sniper rifle. A cutscene shows two of my people run along a path and get cut down by his amazing aim. What happens next? Tom and the group that he is fighting alongside safely run up to the point where the two guys were shot and I am ordered to take out the sniper. Suddenly he can’t find the trigger and I have all day to take him out with my own sniper rifle. It seems like the missions have great premises and promise but there just isn’t enough structure to them to make them operate to their full potential.

The camera still proves to be the game’s weakest aspect, it often gets caught on objects and swings around frantically for no apparent reason. Most times it feels like it’s far too close to the action and conceals what is happening in the near vicinity. Then there is the problem when you’re just trying to look and see what is going on around you, namely, you can’t. The first person look mode is still available but it’s not a viable solution to the game. Having to stand still just so that I can see who’s shooting me is ridiculous. Had Rockstar allowed the right analog stick to control the camera while you move with the left analog stick, there would be no problem. Combat also seems to be relatively unchanged and suffers from the same problems as before.

Grand Theft Auto Vice City isn’t for everyone though and if GTA3 failed to hold your interest, I recommend you stay away from this one. However, if you were one of the millions who succumbed to the addictive nature of the series then you’ll definitely want to pick this one up. While there is a lot to loathe about the game the goods far outweigh the bad. Rockstar has successfully carried the torch in this year’s iteration to deliver an amazing game that really does live up to the hype. They have refined many of the game’s aspects, delivering a title that is much more polished and pristine than we could have ever imagined. There’s enough depth here to drown a bus full of Mormons and in the end, isn’t that what we’ve always wished for? Now excuse me while I hit these hoes up for some cash.

How To Be A Marathon Runner in Temple Run 2

Temple Run 2 has been a popular ADV game for a long time, which you can find on 9game easily ,following is what you may like about it.

Upgrade your abilities smartly
Don’t upgrade abilities that you can purchase immediately with the amount of coins you have at hand. Focus on increasing the following abilities:
  • Boost distance: Increases the boost duration
  • Power meter: It fills at a faster rate and needs fewer coins to fill up completely, after which you can engage boost and other powerups.
  • Save me: Each time you upgrade this ability, you need fewer gems each time you use “Save Me”. So, after upgrading it twice, it will cost you one gem for the first three times you use “Save Me” in a single game.
  • Pickup spawn: This makes powerups spawn more frequently.
Work towards maxing out these abilities. It requires a lot of game play, time, patience and coins, but it will help you in defeating your friends and beating high scores. Note that the second-last and final upgrade cost 25,000 and 50,000 coins respectively, but they’re completely worth it.
Boost, Coin magnet, Power meter and Save me! are the key to winning

Complete objectives to earn big rewards
The objectives might seem stupid and impossible to achieve, but work towards completing them. You graduate to the next level after completing a few objectives each time, and the rewards are big, such as a big bag of coins or lots of gems—how cool is that? Also, complete weekly and daily challenges to earn free coins and gems.

Are you a rookie? Cheat!
Use an app such as Kernel Tuner to underclock your Android device by a few hundred megahertz. The frame rate will drop and the game will become slow and laggy, which will make running long distances a cakewalk. Do remember to set the processor's speed to the default value after playing.

Play A Teen Patti Game

Teen Patti is the card game which recently has became very popular in India. you can download it free from 9game!

The dealer button is assigned to the first seat before play begins and moves clockwise from player to player throughout the game. Betting begins with the player seated on the left side of the dealer and moves clockwise around the table until all players have taken their turn. This pattern is repeated during the next round. There are no limits to the number of rounds played in Teen Pathi.
When it is their turn, the amount of the bet players need to put in the pot to continue in the game depends on whether they are playing ‘seen’ or ‘blind’.
For every round played, blind players must bet an amount which is at least the current stake and is not more than double the current stake. Seen players must bet an amount which is at least double the current stake and no more than four times the current stake. (On their turn, blind players may decide to look at their cards. At this point the player becomes ‘seen’ and must bet accordingly.)
Alternatively, if a player believes that they have a weak hand which is unlikely to win, they can decide to ‘fold’ when it is their turn to play. Players who fold forfeit their claims to all money put into the pot and must either leave the table or wait for the next hand to be dealt before playing again.
The game ends when either all players except one have folded (the remaining player is then declared the winner and awarded the pot) or when two players remain and one player pays for a ‘show’ (placing all cards face up on the table and comparing combinations).

Temple Run 2: Like Temple Run, But A Little Bit Better

Temple Run 2 has been a popular ADV game for a long time, which you can find on 9game easily ,following is a player's review of it.
Image result for temple run 2
Have you ever read one of those reviews where you scratch your head and say “huh, I’m not sure why the score is so high considering what he wrote”?  Gamezebo’s review of Temple Run 2 is probably going to be one of those reviews.  Because regardless of the nit-picking and the gripes that you’ll read in the next 700 or so words, we’re still talking about Temple Run here, and that’s an experience that’s great no matter how you slice it.
Sequels generally have two directions they can go; try something new, or play it safe and give the audience more of what they already love.  Temple Run 2 is a title that strongly embraces this second philosophy.  There may be plenty of new elements throughout the game, but when you pick it up to play, what you’ll find is a game that feels almost identical to its predecessor.
If you somehow haven’t played the original, the shtick goes like this: Temple Run is an endless runner where you swipe left and right to turn and explore different paths.  You also swipe up and down to jump and slide past obstacles, and tilt to collect coins and survive along ledges.  Stumble too often and some man-eating monkeys will make you their supper.  Turn too late and you’ll go careening off the edge.  And Temple Run 2?  It’s exactly the same thing.
Still, that’s not to discount the new elements that are in the game.  Joe Dangerous has been given a new temple to run through, and it’s one that’s filled with daring heights and deadly obstacles.  Players will need to jump up to grab ziplines, avoid giant spinning spikes in the ground, and even tilt their way through minecart segments.  Having said that, these new elements play exactly like the old ones – even if you are on a zipline or in a minecart.
The game has also been given a bit of a visual makeover, too.  Character models look better, environments are more detailed -everything impresses just a little bit more than it did in the original.  Combine that with more upgrades, achievements that are tied to a levelling system, and a new gems currency that you can use to buy a second chance whenever you die, and you’ve got a product that improves upon the original in just about every way – if only slightly.
That said, there are a few things missing in this sequel that are sorely missed.  Seeing your friends’ high scores are you ran past them was always a great feeling in Temple Run, but that’s gone here.  Also missing is support for the iCade.  The first Temple Runnot only offered iCade support, but might have been the single best game on the device.  As a big iCade advocate myself, not being able to play Temple Run 2 on it is a huge let down.
The biggest disappointment, though, is simply in how safe Imangi Studios decided to play it with their sequel.  There are no big shifts in gameplay.  There are no buzzworthy changes.  At best, you can sum it up as “it’s like Temple Run, but a little bit better.”
If you were to pit Temple Run, Temple Run Brave and Temple Run 2 against each other, Temple Run 2 would definitely come out on top – but the play-it-safe improvements don’t really do enough to make Temple Run 2 stand out in a sea of games inspired by the original.  If anything, the content we’re seeing here would have made an admirable update to the original Temple Run. But as a standalone release?Temple Run 2 just doesn’t do enough to distinguish itself from its predecessor.

What You May Like about Temple Run 2

Temple Run 2 has been a popular ADV game for a long time, which you can find on 9game easily ,following is what you may like about it.
Image result for temple run 2 high score
It’s more Temple Run
Despite its popularity, the original Temple Run was hardly unique. You can’t throw a dollar at the App Store or Google Play without hitting a dozen games where you run toward an unreachable goal while collecting some form of currency along the way. What set Temple Run apart was its simplicity. It dropped you into an ancient temple with only one specific goal: run from the evil demon monkeys that are chasing you. To do this, you swipe left or right to make turns and up or down to dodge obstacles, and you tilt your device to guide the protagonist (Guy Dangerous) through strings of golden coins that you can use to buy upgrades between runs.
Temple Run 2 changes barely any of this. OK, you are now fleeing from one giant demon monkey, the graphics look a lot nicer, and there are a few new types of paths that change things up (more on those later), but the game is essentially the same. Swipe to turn or dodge, tilt to get coins, use your spoils to buy upgrades, and then run again to try for a higher score. This is the best route Imangi could have taken, and it calls to mind the “if it ain’t broke, don’t fix it” approach to sequels that has worked well for titles like Left 4 Dead 2 and, well, almost everything Nintendo has ever done.
Also, like its predecessor, Temple Run 2 is free to play in the best way possible. The things you can spend real money on — coins and gems (which upgrade your power-ups and can grant you extra lives) — are both readily available in the game itself, meaning you only ever need to pay for something if you’re lazy and want to unlock things without earning them (which isn’t too hard, anyway).
Characters and power-ups
Temple Run 2 doesn’t have any new unlockable characters — in fact, it has fewer than the original does — but each one comes with his very own special ability that you can trigger in-game after collecting a certain number of coins. The vanilla explorer Guy Dangerous can activate a shield that will protect him from running into things for a short time, Scarlett Fox can use a speed boost, Barry Bones (I assume he’s a forensic anthropologist who plays baseball) gets a 50-coin bonus, and She-Ra cosplayer Karma Lee gets a 500-point score bonus.
These special abilities are easily the most useful new addition as they allow you to tailor the experience to give you more effective power-ups more often. Instead of stumbling on a magnet item (which draws coins to you), you can trigger one when you see a big chain coming up or use the boost ability to quickly pass through a difficult stretch.
More diverse paths
The original Temple Run was all about straight lines and 90-degree turns. Sure, sometimes you’d jump off the stone temple floor onto a raised platform of mud and wooden planks, but nothing was really different about it. The sequel shakes all of that up with revolutionary concepts like hills, valleys, and gradual curves. While running over a hill is no different from running across a level platform, it does make the game more visually interesting. It sells the idea better (if only slightly) that you’re running down a path carved through natural environments instead of just a maze floating in space.
The developers have also included two completely new path types: zip lines, which are basically opportunities for you to take a breath since you won’t run into any danger on them, and minecart rides (apparently Imangi finally got around to seeing Temple of Doom). The minecart sections are the best part of Temple Run 2 as they’re totally different from the other areas (if you count tilting to turn instead of swiping as being “totally different”). They simultaneously cleanse your palate from running and make gameplay momentarily way more intense since the cart moves faster than you do on foot and approaches turns with much less warning.
Besides Temple Run 2, you can find other ADV games on 9game.

How Does Teen Patti End?

Teen Patti is the card game which recently has became very popular in India. you can download it free from 9game!

Players who do not want to play either because their game is bad or because the stakes are too high can ‘pack’ at any time which means quitting the game. Finally if there are only 2 players left either of them can call for a ‘show’ at their turn after putting the required money in the center as per the current stakes. At this point both the players show their cards and the player with the higher game wins and takes the money in the center. At the start of each game, the dealer has to put 2 counters in the center and every other player has to put one counter in the center. If there are 2 or more players still playing and none of them are saying ‘show’ or ‘packing’ then the rule is that after 3 rounds of no change in the stakes being bet, a table show is initiated. If 2 or more players have exactly equal games (this can happen is some variations if both players have all jokers) then it is up to the players to decide how to split the tie: the 2 usual options are to either share the money or have a ‘open flush’ that decides the winner. An open flush is nothing but a simple royal game, but there is no additional betting involved, each player is given 3 cards open on the table. In many joker-based variations, the way we played is a game of all 3 jokers is considered higher than all 3 pure aces. This is because more number of jokers means the variation was fully exploited. Another rule is something called ‘side-show’ where the player can ask for a side-show with the player immediately after him in the playing order…the next player may or may not agree to this side-show. If he agrees, then the two players compare their games and the player with the lower game will have to pack. None of the rest of the players get to see their games. In a side-show, normally the player asking for a side-show pays the current stake and then calls for a side-show. However, if the 2 players agree they can both split the stake between by both paying half and half of the current stake and then comparing their games. Also, the tricky thing about calling for a side-show is that in case the 2 players have exactly equal games, then the player who called for a side-show has to be the one to pack his game.

Review on Grand Theft Auto: Vice City

Welcome to the Grand Theft Auto: Vice City9game believe you can enjoy yourself in this action game.
Image result for GTA Vice city
It has been a decade since Grand Theft Auto:Vice City hit the PS2.  Since that release oh so many moons ago, it has appeared on the several consoles and now it has hit the iPad.  Thanks to Rockstar, the game you loaded up on a disc in your bulky PS2 can now amazingly be played in that small device in your hands.  The game is set in 1986 in Vice City, a city not unlike Miami.  Tommy Vercetti, just released from prison, is sent to Vice City in order to complete a drug deal.  The drug deal goes unbelievably wrong and Tommy needs to find his money and take out some hard retribution.

Vice City plays out very similarly to other GTA games.  It takes place in a sprawling open world which is slowly unlocked as you complete missions. Missions can be found in your minimap and are started by approaching the circular spotlight highlighting the start area.  They vary from stealing cars and boats to assassinating someone to blowing up buildings to other criminal activities.  Many also involve the ubiquitous evading the police.  They are different enough for each one to be fresh and rarely would you exclaim "Not again! Didn't I just do this?" which is the norm for a lot of sandbox games.  One cool aspect is the setting as it all takes place in 1986 and takes inspiration from 80s shows (like Miami Vice) with the fashion, technology and cars - even the in-game radio brings back often nostalgic tunes and amusing banter.

The game has made an interesting transition over to the iPad with virtual controls at the bottom of the screen being fine for the most part but can become fiddly and oversensitive.  Some of the combat controls are also not particularly well introduced which is a serious prerequisite in the present days of instuction book-less purely digital downloads.  This can lead to some serious trial and error during some missions as you try to work out your new weaponry.

There is also the option of using the gyroscope for some missions which other than for gimmicky purposes should be declined at all costs in order to save your sanity. The graphics have not aged that well but that doesn't deter from the excellent gameplay. Also present are some graphical glitches (eg pop-in) and performance issues (occasional slow-down) but I can happily put this down to the age of the game.

On the bright side, everything from the original version seems to be here.  The open sandbox, full voice dialog, all the missions, the involving storyline full of amusing character stereotypes.  It is one helluva enjoyable game to play as you steal, shoot, murder, crash your way through Vice City. It is no San Andreas, but an enjoyable romp nonetheless - it is also one rather gigantic download though but one well worth it if you can make the space.

Landing onto the Android App Store on the 28th of July, Anjaan Race Wars is an initiative by the makers of the film, in order to promote the film far and wide on a new medium. Anjaan Race Wars is currently made available on Android platforms, and will soon join the iOS bandwagon. It is developed by Vroovy.
What is the game about?
Similar to the world famous accelerometer based game 'Lane Splitter' Anjaan Race Wars is bent on a car-chase sequence, which is said to be an important scene in the film. The gamer is said to be in a situation where the Jeeva (Samantha) has been taken away by the goons, and it is up to Raju Bhai (Suriya) to save her. The gamer now takes the driver's seat, and becomes Raju Bhai en route to Jeeva.
On the way, the car does come across a lot of obstacles such as work-pits, oncoming vehicles and barriers. The gamer has to dodge across these obstacles, and also keep in mind to collect various goodies in the likes of petrol pump-ups and NOS boosts. The cops and the villains are here to kick off Raju Bhai, and they'll have to be shot down too.
Every game picks up points, which can redeemed for upgrades at the store. The game has no end as the user can still keep playing it after acquiring all the upgrades.
What are the pros and cons?
Pros - First things first, the point of having a game for the film is something uncommon in itself. Games based on our films aren't much in number, and Anjaan Race Wars is something cool to look out for in that aspect. The game is well crafted, with good importance given to acceptable graphics and a small file size. Special camera angles when Raju Bhai takes a shot are a delight.
Cons - The motion sensing capability of the game is limited, and lacks perfect calibration. This makes it a touch tougher to play the game on smaller devices. However, these problems can be rectified with the help of an update from the developers.
Overall, Anjaan Race Wars is a good game to have on your gadgets. The feel of controlling a character which we are familiar with is fun, and the game does provide that with good graphics. Suriya gets a smashing new avatar, kudos to the makers for coming out with this idea.
